The Executive Chairman of Ijero Local Government, Hon. Julius Abayomi Folowosele, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

The council boss, who had earlier presented food items to members of the Muslim community as part of efforts to support them during the fasting period, congratulated them on the successful completion of Ramadan. He commended their devotion, sacrifice, and commitment to spiritual growth throughout the holy month.

Hon. Folowosele noted that Ramadan teaches values such as patience, compassion, and self-discipline, which are vital for building a peaceful and progressive society.

He urged Muslims and Nigerians at large to sustain the virtues imbibed during the fasting period by promoting peace, unity, and mutual understanding.

According to him, peaceful coexistence remains key to the growth and development of any society.

He further encouraged citizens to continue showing love to one another and to extend support to the less privileged, especially during the festive season.

“Eid al-Fitr is a time of joy and reflection. Let us use this opportunity to strengthen our unity and live in peace with one another,” he said.

Hon. Julius Abayomi Folowosele wished all Muslim faithful a joyful and peaceful Eid celebration.
