The Executive Chairman of Gbonyin Local Council Development Area, Hon. Benedict Oluwadamilare Ajayi, has extended heartfelt greetings to Muslim in Gbonyin Local Council Development Area and beyond as they celebrate the successful completion of the Ramadan fasting period.
In his goodwill message Hon. Ajayi described the Islamic festival as a time of thanksgiving, spiritual renewal and deep reflection on the values of faith, sacrifice and compassion.
He expressed his gratitude to the Muslim community and residents for their resilience and devotion during the sacred month .
He emphasized the importance of unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence within the diverse communities in the council area.
In his message, the Chairman encouraged all residents, especially the Muslim Ummah, to continue adhering to the council policies and affirmed his administration’s commitment to improving the quality of life for all residents through compassionate and progressive policies. He reiterated his dedication to the socio-economic transformation of the Gbonyin Local Council Area, promising continued support for initiatives that promote communal growth and harmony.
In his concluding remarks, the Chairman while congratulating all the Muslim’s family’s on the successful completion of their Ramadan fast, he also reassured them of the council’s unwavering support from the state government under Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and prayed that, this Eid will bring new opportunities and endless blessings for all.
