….As Ekiti NYC Hails Move
House of Representatives member, representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency ll, Hon. Biodun has renewed his commitment to youth development as he announced a fresh appointment of two aides to oversee the affairs of students and youths in his constituency.
The appointment was announced via a statement released from his Abuja office on Friday.
According to the statement, Comrade Adeyemi Ebenezer was appointed as Liason Assistant (LA-Y) for youths engagement, while Comrade Asake Tolulope was appointed as Liason Assistant (LA-S) for Students Engagement Affairs. The two appointment takes effect from October 29th,2025.
Omoleye had since inception into the national assembly, organized various programmes, including trainings, empowerments and employments generation for youths in his constituency. This latest appointment of Aides for students and youth matters signified a direct efforts to address the needs and concerns of the youth population and to provide a channel for them to influence policy. This move is also intended to foster collaboration between the lawmaker and youth groups to drive meaningful change.
Meanwhile,The Nigerian Youth Council (NYC), Ekiti State Chapter,has extended its profound appreciation to Hon. Biodun Omoleye for his exemplary commitment to youth inclusion and development through the recent appointment of officers to oversee students and youth engagement in his constituency.
In a press release, signed by the Ekiti State Chairman of NYC,Aare Temitope Adedara,he described Omoleye as a Champion of young people and a leader who understand that the progress, stability and future of Ekiti State depends on strategic investment in its youths.
Adedara stated that the decision of the lawmaker to empower structures that give students and young people a stronger voice, reflect his unwavering belief in participatory governance and community -driven development.
“Through this thoughtful initiative,Hon. Omoleye has opened wider doors for collaboration, capacity building, mentorship,and increased youth participation in public affairs.
“This gesture will not only strengthen the bond between government and the youth population but also create more opportunities for innovation, advocacy,and personal development among students across the state”, the statement read.
The NYC assured the federal lawmaker of its readiness to work diligently with the newly appointed officers to ensure that the initiave delivers meaningful impacts to the youth constituency in Ekiti State.
Aare Adedara Temitope Moses further thanked Hon. Omoleye for his visionary leadership and for consistently demonstrating that youth empowerment is not a mere political promise but a priority backed by action.
