In a gesture that underscores mutual respect across political divides, former Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to former Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, at his Lagos residence.
The visit was to celebrate with Fayose ahead of his 65th birthday. Obi described the former governor as “a nationalist and a man of honour whose political relevance transcends party lines.”
During the visit, the two leaders engaged in cordial discussions, reflecting the spirit of unity and statesmanship that Osokomole is known for.
Obi wished Fayose many more years in good health and continued service to the nation, describing him as “an evergreen political figure whose influence and courage remain indelible in Nigeria’s democratic space.”
