The Founder and Executive Director of MD Foundation for Charity and National Integration, Ikudomi Muhammad Olanrewaju, has been honoured with the Humanitarian Services & Social Impact Award by the Student Representative Assembly (SRA), Kwara State University, Malete, in recognition of his outstanding humanitarian contributions and enduring commitment to community development.
The prestigious award was presented during the Assembly’s Parliamentary Summit and Constitution Launch, where distinguished individuals who have made meaningful contributions to society were celebrated.
According to the organisers, the award was conferred on Ikudomi Muhammad Olanrewaju in recognition of the remarkable impact of the MD Foundation in advancing humanitarian services, youth empowerment, educational support, charitable outreach, community development, and national integration. The Foundation’s consistent efforts in reaching underserved communities and promoting hope through sustainable interventions have earned it widespread recognition.
The award was presented by Dr. Seyid Cisse, who commended the Foundation for its unwavering dedication to humanitarian service and encouraged the organisation to continue expanding its positive impact across Nigeria.
Receiving the award through a representative Ishola Muibah Omoronike, the Incumbent Academic Chairlady of the department of Politics and Governance, Kwara State University, Malate, and other members of the 400 level Public Administration student. Ikudomi Muhammad Olanrewaju expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Student Representative Assembly of Kwara State University for the honour. He described the recognition as a testament to the collective efforts of the Foundation’s volunteers, partners, donors, and supporters, whose commitment has continued to make its humanitarian mission possible.
“This recognition is not just for me but for every individual and organisation that has supported the vision of MD Foundation. It strengthens our resolve to continue serving humanity, empowering communities, supporting the less privileged, and promoting national unity through impactful and sustainable initiatives,” he said.
Since its establishment, the MD Foundation for Charity and National Integration has implemented several life-changing initiatives across communities, including educational assistance, humanitarian relief, youth empowerment programmes, advocacy for peace and unity, and social intervention projects aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable individuals.
The Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to expanding its humanitarian outreach and strengthening partnerships that will continue to drive positive social change and national development.
