Hon. Mrs. Adepoju Oluwatoyin Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Wife of the Governor of Ekiti State, today hosted a Back to School give-back programme at St. Andrew’s Pilot School, Ado-Ekiti, as part of her personal commitment to community support.
The initiative, carried out in alignment with the vision of Her Excellency, Dr. Oyebanji Olayemi, the Wife of the Governor, provided pupils with essential learning materials including school bags, textbooks, exercise books, mathematical sets, and other supplies needed to enhance their learning experience.
Hon. Adepoju explained that the programme was conceived as her own way of giving back to society while complementing Dr. Oyebanji’s broader Back to School Support Programme.
“Supporting the dreams of our children through education is the best investment in our future. This initiative is my personal contribution to the community, inspired by the commitment of Her Excellency, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, to the welfare and educational advancement of Ekiti children,” she said.
In addition to pupil support, some teachers were also empowered with items aimed at fostering sustainability and encouraging dedication to their noble profession.
The event was marked by a warm reception from the school management, staff, and pupils, who expressed gratitude for the gesture and commended Hon. Adepoju for her service-driven leadership.
With this initiative, Hon. Adepoju has further reinforced the collective vision of ensuring that no child in Ekiti is left behind in the pursuit of education.
