The Executive Chairman of Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government, Hon. Oluwatuyi Oluwagbenga, on Monday once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people by distributing assorted food items, beverages, and other relief packages to hundreds of constituents across the local government.
The gesture, which has become a hallmark of his people-oriented administration, further reflects his enduring passion for giving back to the people who entrusted him with leadership.
This follows the remarkable empowerment programme held earlier in the year, during which over two hundred beneficiaries received various empowerment tools and income-generating machines to improve their livelihoods and economic well-being.
Speaking during the distribution exercise, Hon. Oluwatuyi appreciated the steadfast support of the people and commended their loyalty to the administration of the Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO).
He noted that the Governor’s transformative achievements in infrastructure development, healthcare delivery, educational advancement, revenue generation, road construction, harmonious engagement with traditional institutions, and cordial relationship with workers and stakeholders have continued to earn widespread public confidence across the state.
The beneficiaries, overwhelmed by the Chairman’s generosity and consistent humanitarian interventions, offered heartfelt prayers and words of appreciation.
They unanimously described Hon.
Oluwatuyi as a compassionate, selfless, and grassroots-focused leader whose actions continually impact lives positively.
Many of them also expressed unwavering support for Governor Oyebanji’s re-election bid, assuring that the votes he will receive in the forthcoming election will surpass previous records, citing his outstanding performance and visible developmental strides across Ekiti State.
The event, which attracted a large crowd of appreciative residents, further strengthened the bond between the people and their leaders, while reaffirming the shared commitment to sustainable development, inclusive governance, and continued progress for Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government and Ekiti State at large.
