*Strong APC Support: As the incumbent governor, Oyebanji has shown strong leadership within the APC, which would translate to party support during the primary election.
*Administrative Experience: With experience as Special Adviser, Chief of Staff, DG OTSD, Commissioner and Secretary to the Ekiti State Government at different times, Oyebanji has a deep understanding of governance and administration, which would definitively be a factor in the primary election.
*Wide Acceptance: During the last APC primary election held on January 27, 2022, Oyebanji won with an overwhelming majority.
*Party Loyalty: Oyebanji’s ability to bring his co-contestants together after the primary election, as seen in his acceptance speech where he called on them to join hands with him, showcases his ability to unite the party.
*Electoral Track Record: Given his performance in the 2022 governorship election, where he won 15 out of 16 local government areas, Oyebanji has shown that he can deliver votes across the state.
