The Monitoring Team of the Ekiti State Fiscal Responsibility Commission, led by the Commissioner in charge of Monitoring and Evaluation, Mr. Agbana, on Tuesday, 26th August 2025, commended the Chairman of Irewolede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. (Mrs) Dupe Bakare, for the high quality of projects executed under her administration.
Mr. Agbana, who was accompanied by the Commission’s Executive Secretary, Mr. Oloworemo; Engr. Adesanya; and other directors, stated that the visit was aimed at ensuring that the council complies with due process in executing projects and that all funds released are judiciously utilized.
He emphasized that project documentation must pass through both the Council Chairman, Hon. (Mrs) Dupe Bakare, and the Head of the LCDA, Mr. Babatunde Vincent, in accordance with laid-down procedures.
Responding, Hon. Bakare assured the monitoring team that all council projects were executed in line with due process and were thoroughly supervised by the council management to ensure optimal outcomes from contractors.
Council official present during the visit included the Vice Chairman, Hon Samson Kolawole, Secretary to the council, Hon Adebo Adewale, Head of Local Council Development Area, Mr Babatunde Vincent, Director of Administration, Mr Oladele Olutoyin, Director of finance, Mr Idowu Francis and Engr Olusola Joseph
