Ekameta LCDA embarked on highway maintenance

For some years now, big trees beside the Ikogosi/Ipole iloro road has formed an umbrella and a canopy over the tarred road which do prevent oncoming vehicles from seeing each other and this can cause vehicular accident.

Ekameta LCDA under the leadership of Dr Leye Adeniji has been maintaining a regular clearing of road verges of all the roads that leads to the three major towns in Ekameta LCDA (Erijiyan, Ikogosi and Ipole Iloro Ekiti) but this time around, apart from the regular clearing of road verges he has taken a pragmatic step by cutting all the trees forming canopy over the road. This step will prevent vehicular accident and improve the security of lives and properties along the road. It will also enhance the durability and lifespan of the road especially now that the road is serving as alternative route to Igede-Aramoko-Itaore road.

Thanks to His Excellency Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji BAO for making fund available to all the LG/LCDAs in Ekiti so that people at the grassroots can also enjoy the dividend of democracy.

Today 4th of September is the 5th day that the exercise has started. Since we have commenced the job all the travelers and passersby were shouting BAO till 2030 and 4 + 4 = 8. This is a testament to the fact that BAO is loved by all Ekiti kete and it is him we all want as our governor till 2030.

Kudos to the staff and management of Ekameta LCDA for their unwavering commitment towards the advancement of the Council. Special thanks to the Supervisor for Agric Hon Anthony Kehinde with his team and those in the Works department for their relentless efforts in ensuring the success of the exercise.
