The Technical Advisor on Sport Development, Ekiti State, Dr. Olusola Osetoba, has commended the Ekiti State Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Akintunde Oyebode, for refurbishing the Ikole Township Stadium.
Dr. Osetoba stated that the refurbished stadium has significantly improved access to standard sporting facilities for youths across Ekiti State, creating a conducive environment for training, talent identification, and athletics development.
She described Hon. Oyebode’s intervention as a practical demonstration of commitment to sports growth, noting that such support complements the broader vision of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to strengthen sports infrastructure and youth development in the state.
According to her, individual-driven initiatives of this nature remain critical to achieving sustainable sports development and expanding opportunities for young athletes in Ekiti State.
