The Executive Chairman of Ekameta Local Council Development Area, Hon. Dr. Leye Adeniji, has congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on his well-deserved re-election for a second term.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Dr. Adeniji described the governor’s victory as a clear endorsement of his administration’s performance, people-oriented policies, and commitment to the development of Ekiti State.
He expressed appreciation for the massive support received from the people of Ekameta LCDA, Ekiti West, and Ekiti State in general, both at home and in the diaspora.
Dr. Adeniji commended the unity and political maturity displayed by Ekiti people, noting that their decision to re-elect Governor Oyebanji has broken the jinx of non-consecutive terms since the return of democracy in 1999.
He assured all stakeholders that Ekameta LCDA would continue to align with the governor’s “Shared Prosperity” agenda to ensure accelerated growth and improved welfare for citizens.
“On behalf of the government and people of Ekameta LCDA, I congratulate His Excellency, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on this landmark victory. Ekiti has spoken with one voice, and we are confident that the next four years will bring greater development, prosperity, and opportunities for all Ekiti people,” Dr. Adeniji stated.
He prayed for wisdom, good health, and divine guidance for the governor as he begins his second term.
