I heartily felicitate our royal father, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Samuel Adejimi Adu Alagbado Agirilala 11 the OGOGA of Ikere Kingdom, and Chairman Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rullers, on the occasion of your 74th birthday.
Having spent seventy four (74) remarkable years on earth is nothing but the grace of God and His benevolence upon you. You have distinguished yourself and your reign, as a peaceful, compassionate, impactful and a forward- looking monarch, whose tenure and reign have brought a new lease of life to the sons and daughters of Ikere Kingdom and by extension Ekiti state. Kabiyesi, it is worthy of note that God has destined your reign to elevate many of your subjects through their various appointments into prestigious offices in the country, where I am a beneficiary. I can boldly say, Kabiyesi, that Ikere had never had it this good.
The values added to our town are largely attributed to your steadfast commitment to the welfare and advancement of Ikere Kingdom, your wise approaches, and your enduring support for your subjects as well as your strategic interventions are reflexions of the rare grace God has endowed you, with. During this reign, Kabiyesi, the traditions and values of the kingdom have continued to thrive, and your native intelligence, which is second to none, has strengthened the bonds between the palace and the academic community, within and outside your territory.
Your reign is no doubt one with a remarkable milestone and a testament to visionary rulership, marked by unprecedented developments, enduring peace, and profound tranquillity.
Your Majesty, as we celebrate this significant milestone and celebration of your birth, I express my deepest gratitude to Ọlọrun Eledumare for granting you wisdom and knowledge with which you have been able to navigate the murky contours of our land, and successfully, too. As your proud subject whom God has placed at the helm of affairs in Ekiti State University, we shall continue to rely on your fatherly counsels, targeted at ensuring the growth and development of our university for the dreams of our fonding fathers to come into realisation
We covet for you continued good health, long live, wisdom, and longevity to occupy the exalted throne of your forefathers as you steer the affairs of the kingdom towards the right direction.
