The Vice Chancellor of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado Ekiti, Professor Joseph Babatola Ayodele has felicitated the Students of Ekiti State University, Staff School, EKSU International College and children all over the world for the 2026 Children’s day.celebrations.
In his message, the Vice Chancellor noted that, today, being the Children day is a reminder that, children are precious gifts to the society, with full of dreams, potential, and aspirations. He said, “You deserve love, care, education, protection, and opportunities to grow into your best selves”.
He further encouraged the students to Study hard and make good use of their learning opportunities, obey their parents and teachers, and uphold the core values of excellence, discipline and character for which EKSU is known for.
Prof. Ayodele, a lover of peace and unity enjoined the students of the great citadels of learning to live peacefully with one another, dream big for them to be fulfilled.
As we celebrate our children today, let us also remind ourselves as adults of our responsibility to ensure that children are not neglected, maltreated, or left behind, the VC said.
He prayed that, their day be joyful, and filled with hope of brighter future
