Olu Egbejoda Adamolekun, has expressed appreciation to the people of Ikere for their massive turnout at the Ikere stop of the statewide campaign tour held on Friday at Ojude BAO Pavilion, Odo Oja, Ikere.
In a media chat with journalists over the weekend, Adamolekun commended residents, including party loyalists, market women, youths, students, artisans, and socio cultural groups, for turning out in large numbers to receive the BAO/MCA campaign train.
He also appreciated campaign committees, leaders of the progressive party in Ikere, and other stakeholders for their coordination and mobilisation efforts, which contributed significantly to the success of the rally.

He commended residents for their unity, peaceful conduct, and commitment to the campaign, describing Ikere as a stronghold of progressive politics.
“As a people, Ikere has once again demonstrated love and commitment to good governance. I sincerely appreciate everyone who came out in their numbers to support the BAO/MCA campaign. This show of support has further strengthened our resolve for overwhelming votes at the polls,” he stated.
He reaffirmed the readiness of the people of Ikere to deliver massive votes for Governor Biodun Oyebanji and his deputy, Chief (Mrs) Monisade Afuye, at the June 20 governorship election, while urging continued mobilisation.
