The Executive Chairman of Gbonyin LCDA, Hon Benedict Oluwadamilare Ajayi, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the entire workforce in the council area on the auspicious occasion of this year’s Workers’ Day celebration.
Ajayi praised the dedication, resilience, and commitment of the council workforce, acknowledging their indispensable roles in the smooth functioning of the local administration and development of the council area.
In a press statement released by the Director of Information and Civic Orientation of the LCDA, Mr Omotayo Peter, the council boss described workers as the bedrock of any society, stressing that their pivotal role in the socioeconomic advancement of any community cannot be overemphasised.
He commended their tireless efforts in service delivery and grassroots development, noting that their sacrifices and hard work are critical to the success of governance across all levels.
“Today, we hail our ever-resilient and committed workforce — the unsung heroes who keep our systems running and our communities growing. May I through this medium reaffirm my administration’s commitment to continually prioritize workers’ welfare, capacity building, and a conducive work environment.
