At Iloro/Ijurin Ward A, the motion for the endorsement of Hon. Omoleye was moved by the Vice Chairman of Irewolede LCDA, Hon. Samson Kolawole, who commended the lawmaker for what he described as impactful representation across the constituency.

He noted that Omoleye’s achievements cut across all the 33 wards and over 25 towns in the constituency, highlighting empowerment programmes such as the installation of solar street lights, youth and women training initiatives, and construction of roads and classrooms.

The motion was seconded by Deaconess Funmilayo Abe and subsequently ratified by party members, with the APC Chairman in Ijero, Mr James Awe, and the Ward Chairman, Mr Mathew Ayodele, leading the symbolic endorsement.

A similar process was replicated in other wards.

Speaking at Iloro Ward A, Hon. Dapo Kolawole assured the lawmakers of the continued support of the people and urged party members to vote massively for Senator Bamidele and Hon. Omoleye in the forthcoming APC primaries.

He stressed the importance of returning Omoleye to the National Assembly to consolidate on the achievements recorded during his first term.

Kolawole also described Ijero Local Government as politically strategic in Ekiti State, noting that it is the second largest local government after the state capital, and emphasised the need for the area to retain the federal constituency seat.

In his response, Hon. Biodun Omoleye appreciated party leaders and members for their continued support, pledging to sustain efforts aimed at improving the welfare of the people and advancing development across the constituency.
