The Executive Chairman of Ajoni Local Council Development Area in Ekiti State, Ambassador Prince Michael O. Ogungbemi, has extended his warmest congratulations to Christians worldwide, especially those in Ajoni LCDA, as they celebrate the joyous Easter seasons.
In a heartfelt message made available through the Council’s Director of Information and Civic Orientation, Omo’ba Adeola Alex FAFURE, Ogungbemi prayed for peace, unity, and progress in Nigeria, emphasizing the significance of Easter as a time of love, compassion, and forgiveness. He urged Christians to reflect on the values of sacrifice and renewal, and to pray for the nation’s well-being.
“As we commemorate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, let us imbibe the profound teachings of Christ with renewed vigor,” he said. “Let us pray for peace, progress, and unity in our beloved country, Nigeria.”
Ogungbemi reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the growth and development of Ajoni LCDA, and urged residents to support Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s continuity agenda. He solicited for more support for the governor as the reelection approaches on June 20th, saying “we need leaders like Governor Oyebanji to continue steering Ekiti State towards greatness”.
