The Executive Chairman of Aiyekire Local Government, Hon. Adeyemo Davies, on Tuesday engaged stakeholders of various Communities as part of preparation for the 2026 budget.
The event aimed to know the needs of communities in Aiyekire local government was held at the local government secretariat,Ode-Ekiti.
The Chairman, represented by his vice, Hon. Adeyanju Femi, highlighted various projects executed since inception of his administration for the development of Aiyekire Local Government.
Hon. Adeyemo maintained that Aiyekire local government under his administration is committed to the six point agenda of His Excellency,Governor Biodun Oyebanji,hence, the local Government is organising the town hall meeting where the needs of various communities would be collated with a view to incorporating them into the year 2026 budget.
Earlier, the Chairman commended the traditional rulers of various communities for their support and commitment towards improved revenue based in the year under reference.
He further appealed to the good people of Aiyekire local government to always pay their taxes to enable government execute more projects in the coming years.
Adeyemo assured the people of his commitment to their welfares and needs of various communities.
In his vote of thanks, Director of Budget, Planning and Statistics,Mr Olusomoka Thomas reassured the Monarchs and chiefs that all their request would be incorporated into the year 2026 budget.
In attendance were, HM Oba A.E Akinyemi Onisin of Isinbode, HM Oba F.O Olatunji Onimesi, HM OBA G.S.O Ajayi, Owa Ayeteju of Iro Ayeteju, HM OBA Adesina S O Owa Ooro of Agbado, Chiefs and all Directors in the Council.
