The Executive Chairman of Gbonyin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Damilare Ajayi, has congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on his third year anniversary in office, describing his leadership as a true reflection of humility, dedication, and service to humanity.
In a statement issued to mark this milestone, Ajayi highlighted the tremendous growth and development the state has witnessed across all sectors under Oyebanji’s administration. He praised the governor for his inclusive style of governance, emphasizing Oyebanji’s statesmanship, humility, and ability to unite people across political lines, which have set him apart as a model of leadership.
According to him, the governor has demonstrated a rare commitment to inclusive governance and people-centered development, ensuring that every community feels the impact of government programmes.
He said, “Governor Biodun Oyebanji has brought a new sense of purpose and responsibility into governance. His humility, accessibility, and pragmatic approach to leadership have endeared him to the people and strengthened public trust in government.”
Ajayi also commended the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State for unanimously endorsing Governor Oyebanji for a second term, describing the decision as a “well-deserved reward for credible performance and purposeful governance.”
The council boss reaffirmed the loyalty of Gbonyin LCDA to the Oyebanji administration and expressed optimism that the governor would consolidate on his achievements in the years ahead.
He added that Ekiti people have every reason to celebrate a leader who has made transparency, accountability, and compassion the hallmark of his administration.
