The Executive Chairman of Ado North LCDA, Hon Olatokunbo Gbadamosi has reinstated her commitment to the development of the LCDA.
The Local government boss gave the affirmation while speaking at the foundation laying ceremony of the Mojere Ultra Modern Market located along Adebayo Street in Ado Ekiti .
Hon Olatokunbo who was represented by the Council Secretary, Hon Abiodun Olubunmi said the market project was embarked upon in view of the rare passion and love for the people and the development of the area .
At the occasion, contactor handling the project , Engineer Hene Onoja applauded the LCDA chairman commitment development towards the growth of her people and community.
Engineer Onoja said Hon Olatokunbo’s vision was to make Ado North LCDA one of the best in the State in different aspects including Internal Generated Revenue (IGR)
He said the LCDA chairman gave the contactor the mandate to complete the new ultra modern market and deliver it within the next six months.
The Iyaloja of the market, Chief Mrs Modupe Apalowo on behalf of all the market women thanked Hon Olatokunbo for deeming it for to construct an international standard market for the traders whom she said has been exposed to danger due to road side trading in the last few years as there were no adequate space for market women .
Those present at the ground breaking ceremony included the LCDA HLA ,Mrs Ijasan Abiola , the Special Adviser to the LCDA boss on Women Affairs, Mrs Modupe Fatimehin ,Engineer Igwegba Kelechi,Engineer Ewe Onoja, Engineer Busuyi Aladeyelu,Engineer Ejimokun Tosin among others who represented HS African Company.among others.
