…….. URGES PARENTS TO PRIOTISE THE HEALTH OF THEIR CHILDREN.
The wife of Executive Chairman of Aiyekire Local Government, Mrs Adeyemo Joy has celebrated over one hundred multiple birth children with the distribution of foods items and cash gifts in order to take care of their immediate needs.
The event which took place recently was in line with the pet projects of the First Lady of Ekiti State,Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, aimed at bringing succour to the less privileges.
The beneficiaries were drawn from seven communities comprised Ayekire Local Government
Speaking at the event, Mrs Adeyemo Joy appreciate Her Excellency wife of Ekiti State Governor, Dr Mrs Olayemi Oyebanji for the initiative and support to make the programme a reality,also thanked the chairman of Aiyekire Local Government,Hon. Davies Adeyemo for his advice and support
Mrs Joy advised parents to take good care of their children’s health and urged them to strive to give them good education.
She also said they should always pray for them so that they can becomes a great person in future
Thereafter, Mrs Adeyemo Joy distributed Rice, Beans, Gari, spaghetti,Drinks and cash gifts to the beneficiaries.
For the continuation of the initiative,Mrs Adeyemo urged the parents to keep supporting the present administration in the state under the leadership of governor Biodun Oyebanji and enjoined to participate fully in the ongoing Continue Voters Registration (CVR).
Mrs Joy seized the opportunity to highligh her various intervention for women and children in Ayekire Local Government.
The event featured cultural displays, songs and dance.
One of the parents who spoke on behalf of the others,Mrs Adewole from Ode-Ekiti, expressed appreciation to the First Lady and wife of the chairman for the kind gestures.
In attendance were ALGON Chairperson Barr. Mrs Ayoola Olusegun, Gbonyin LCDA chairperson, Mrs Temitayo Ajayi,wife of Aiyekire vice chairman,Mrs Adeyanju and women leader across Local Government.
