‎Residents Hail Progress on Omoleye’s Aramoko Road Construction

‎Construction work has gathered momentum on the three township roads recently flagged off in Aramoko-Ekiti by the lawmaker representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency II in the House of Representatives, Hon. Abiodun Omoleye.

‎Work is currently ongoing on the construction of drainage channels along the roads in the Ijowa, Ijofi and Ile-Ona areas of the town, a step aimed at preventing flooding and ensuring the durability of the roads when completed.

‎Engineers at the site explained that the drainage system is a critical stage of the project, as it will help control water flow during the rainy season and protect the asphalt surface from damage.

‎The contractor handling the project said work is progressing according to schedule and assured residents that the 60-day completion timeline earlier announced by the lawmaker remains intact.

‎He also pledged that the construction would meet the required quality and engineering standards, noting that only durable materials are being used to ensure the roads stand the test of time.

‎Meanwhile, the project is being closely monitored by relevant supervisors to ensure strict compliance with specifications and to guarantee that the community gets value for the investment.

‎Some residents of Aramoko-Ekiti who spoke on the development expressed satisfaction with the pace of work, describing the project as a major boost to transportation and economic activities within the town.

‎They commended Hon. Omoleye for facilitating the road projects and expressed optimism that the improved road network would ease movement, enhance commercial activities and further open up the community for development.
